Bangalore, 25th April 2023: The match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) was one-sided. Chasing RCB’s target of 175 runs, DC lost three wickets for just two runs. Debutant Vijaykumar Vyshak added to DC’s woes today by taking the wicket of David Warner. Manish Pandey had raised the tension for RCB with a half-century, but it was of no avail. RCB regained their winning streak at home.

After winning the toss, Delhi invited RCB to bat. Bangalore scored 174 runs for six wickets against Capitals on Saturday (15th April) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore in the 20th match of this season.

For Prithvi Shaw, this season does not seem to be going well. Anuj Rawat made a perfect throw to run Prithvi out on the stumps. Mitchell Marsh (0) and Yash Dhull (1) were dismissed by Wayne Parnell and Mohammed Siraj respectively.

A useful inning was expected from Manish Pandey today and Warner was seen as usual to save Delhi’s innings. He hit Siraj for three consecutive fours. Vijaykumar Vyshak’s bowling gave RCB a big wicket. Warner was caught by Virat on 19 runs. Abhishek Porel (5) was also caught on a full toss by Harshal Patel.

Akshar Patel and Manish Pandey looked like a good partnership, but Vyshak again took a wicket. Akshar was caught for 21 while trying to hit a big score. Delhi suffered a sixth wicket at 80 runs. Manish was the last hope for Delhi and he scored a half-century in today’s match. He scored his first half-century in IPL since 2021. But, Wanindu Hasaranga removed this obstacle. Manish was dismissed for 50 off 38 balls with five fours and one six.
