IT OLYMPIAD 2015
Grand Award Ceremony on 3rd / Dec/2015
MCE Society Pune has celebrated Grand Award Ceremony of National Level IT Championship namely PAI I.T. Olympiad 2015. I.T. Olympiad is a school level online IT contest for schools and junior colleges of all India. This year 149 schools and junior colleges took part in the Olympiad and 4800 students appeared from all over the country. This was the 5th year of IT Olympiad. The competition was held in two categories Junior and senior.
Miss. Ammena Ayyub Bubere from KMES English Medium High School & Jr. College, Bhiwandi, scored First position as national champion in junior category and awarded Apple IPAD as first prize, Hatim Taheri Saifee of Mansukhbhai Kothari National School stood second in junior category and grabbed Asus Netbook as second prize, Swarit Bidwalkar of Pawar public School stood third in the category and got Android tablet as their prize.
In senior category, Rahematulla Umrani Swaleh Mohammad from Anglo Urdu Boy’s High School, Pune scored First position as national champion and awarded Apple IPAD as first prize, Miss. Saniya Anush Shaikh from Abeda Inamdar Jr. College for science MCVC stood second in Senior category and grabbed Asus Notebook as second prize, Mohammadi Nadim Maniyar from YEWS National High School for boy’s & Jr. College stood third in the category and got Android tablet as their prize. In the Urdu medium school category Miss. Afiya Nasir Khan from Anglo Urdu Girl’s High School and Hafza Noor Ali Ansari from Lady Tehrunnisa Inamdar Urdu Primary School, both won the Android tablet as prize.
KMES English Medium High School & Jr. College, Bhiwandi, from junior category and Anglo Urdu Boy’s High School, Pune from senior category was awarded with rolling trophy of IT Olympiad.
Top 10 participants from both the categories got pen drives from the Olympiad committee. This year there were some surprise gifts like Wings of Fire Audio book, BSNL E Class learning package, Karadipath English learning package and Tour to IIT Mumbai and Imagica.
Shree Neerav Kulshreshta, Director of engineering FirstFuel Software, Shri amitava Pal from InOpen Technologies SINE IIT Mumbai, Shri Mohan Giri, Project director BSNL EClass, Shri Sandeep Pathak, Executive Director Probit Plus, Shri Uday Sonawane Zonal Head Karadipath, Prof. Irfan Shaikh, Joint Secretary MCE Society, Shri P.A. Inamdar, President Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society, Mrs. Abeda Inamdar, Vice-President Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society were present as guest of the ceremony. Shri Rishi Aacharya the director of PAI IT Olympiad2015 extended his wishes to all the winners, participating schools and colleges of season 2015 and appealed to take part in IT Olympiad 2016 in a big numbers.
