Jainam Jivika Foundation Organises Food Drive and Tree Plantation in Pune

Pune, 28th April 2026: The Jainam Jivika Foundation conducted two initiatives focused on social welfare and environmental awareness, including a food donation drive at Sassoon Hospital and a tree plantation activity at Shri Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya (SMJV).

According to the organisers, the food distribution drive was held on April 27 in collaboration with SevaDeep. Over 150 patients, attendants, and visitors at Sassoon Hospital were provided with food packets and fruits.

In a separate initiative, the foundation organised a tree plantation drive at the SMJV campus, where more than 50 saplings were planted. The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.

The programmes were attended by the foundation’s founders, Dr. Dhiraj Jain, Dr. Mamata Jain, Jainam Jain, and Jivika Jain, along with volunteers associated with the organisation.

Hospital staff, patients’ families, students, and other attendees took part in the initiatives. The organisers said such activities are intended to encourage community participation in social and environmental causes.

The foundation thanked participants and stated that similar initiatives would be undertaken in the future.
