Jammu, 17th April 2022: Amidst the rise in terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, the Army has shared a video, which shows how every section of the society has suffered the wounds of terrorism.

The Army is assuring the citizens that it is with them in their fight for stability in the Valley. The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army has uploaded a video titled ‘Kashmir Fights Back’. It is an attempt to show the sufferings of the citizens. It has been pointed out that whatever be the faith of the people… the security forces are making constant efforts to eliminate terrorism and restore normalcy.

The video reads, ‘Decades of terrorism have left us with orphans, widows, weeping mothers and helpless fathers.’ The video shows scenes from the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, rescue operations, and incidents of stone-pelting.

It has been highlighted how terrorists have misled the youth of the Valley for decades and instigated enmity between different communities. This underscores the importance of communal harmony.

It says that they tried to divide our society. Tried to mislead our youth. They tried to convert our companions (the land of saints) into a battlefield.

The video also paid tribute to Kashmiris killed by terrorists including journalist Shujaat Bukhari, social activist Arjumand Majeed, Makhan Lal Bindru, sarpanch Ajay Pandita, Supinder Kaur, Wasim Bari, Lt Umar Fayaz, Ayub Pandita, and Parvez Ahmed Dar.

The video shows security personnel comforting civilians and children. It ends with the message of fighting terrorism and bigotry together. It said that Kashmir is not alone in this fight.
