JEE (Main) 2024 Session 2 Applications Open: Deadline Set for March 2

New Delhi, 5th February 2024: Aspiring engineering students can now submit their online applications for the upcoming JEE (Main) entrance exam, with a deadline set for March 2. Scheduled to take place from April 4 to 15, the exam follows the conclusion of the January session on February 1. Notably, the final merit list will consider the best of the two scores obtained.

Sadhna Parashar, Senior Director (Exams) at the National Testing Agency (NTA), provided guidance for candidates seeking to appear in the second session of JEE (Main)-2024. She emphasized, “The candidates who have applied and successfully paid the examination fee for JEE (Main)-2024 Session 1 and wish to appear for JEE (Main)-2024 Session 2, are required to log in with their previous application number and password as provided in Session 1.”

These candidates can then proceed to choose the paper, examination medium, state code of eligibility, preferred cities for Session 2, educational qualification details, and complete the payment of examination fees.

For those who did not apply during the previous session, Parashar advised, “Those candidates who have not applied earlier need to apply afresh as per the schedule.”

Reflecting on the recently concluded first edition of JEE Main, Parashar noted a commendable 95.8% attendance for Paper 1 (BE/ BTech). This percentage stands out as one of the highest recorded for the JEE (Main), showcasing significant participation among aspiring engineering candidates.
