Mumbai, 17th July 2023: In a heartfelt plea, John Abraham called upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enact essential amendments to the Animal Protection Act, stressing the importance of safeguarding animals throughout the country. He shared a compelling video on his social media platform, quickly capturing widespread attention, with many of his fans expressing appreciation for his efforts.

In the video, John sat in a room and passionately conveyed, “Animals lack a voice; they cannot go to court, vote, or share their plight with journalists. However, you possess the power to be their voice. Today, I appeal to all our Members of Parliament to bring forth the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Amendment Bill during the monsoon session.”

He continued, “The penalties for taking a horse’s life, throwing acid on a puppy, or stoning a bird to death being just 50 rupees are unacceptable. It’s time for a change. India must protect its animal citizens too.”
