Kendriya Vidyalaya Extends Registration Deadline for Balvatika 1 and 3 Admissions
New Delhi, 21st March 2025: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has extended the registration deadline for Balvatika 1 and Balvatika 3 admissions for the 2025-26 academic year.
Parents now have until March 24, 2025, at 10 PM to submit their applications. The extension aims to accommodate more applicants and ensure that children receive the opportunity to enroll in these foundational classes.
The registration process, which began on March 7, 2025, was originally set to close on March 21. However, based on feedback from parents and guardians, KVS officials decided to extend the deadline.
KVS spokesperson Rakesh Kumar stated, “We want to ensure that every child has a fair chance to join our schools, especially at such a crucial early stage of education.”
Balvatika 1: Children must be at least 3 years old by March 31, 2025.
Balvatika 3: Children must be at least 5 years old by March 31, 2025.
Required Documents: Parents must submit a birth certificate as proof of age, along with other valid identification documents.

Following the extended deadline, the provisional merit list for Balvatika admissions will be released. The first merit list is expected on March 26, 2025, informing parents about their children’s admission status.
