Khadki: 10 new COVID cases reported today, 8 discharged
Khadki, 16 Aug, 2020: With 10 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 957 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 957, a total of 672 people have been cured while 28 have died.
According to KCB, there are still 257 active patients undergoing treatment. 54 of them are admitted to Khadki Cantonment Hospital , while others are admitted in different hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. Out of 257 active cases, a total of 136 cases are admitted from army area. There are 219 people under home quarantine while 2011 have completed the quarantine period.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 74,098 out of which 57,657 have been cured while 1739 have died. There are still 14,702 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 760 critical patients out of which 462 are on ventilator support.
Across Maharashtra, 8,837 people got discharged from hospitals while 11,111 new cases and 288 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 5,95,865 out of which 4,17,123 people have recovered and 20,037 have died. There are 1,58,395 active cases.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2,589,682 across the country. Out of this, 1,862,258 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 49,980 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 677,444 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
