Khadki: 19 New COVID Cases Reported Today, Tally Reaches to 1103

Pune, 28 August 2020: With 19 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 1103 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 1103, a total of 903 people have recovered while 31 have died.

 

According to KCB, there are still 169 active patients undergoing treatment. 43 of them are admitted to Khadki Cantonment Hospital, while others are admitted in different private hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. 44 patients in home isolation.

 

Out of 169 active cases, a total of 73 cases are admitted in Command Hospital, AICTS and Military Hospital-CTC.

 

According to KCB officials, after a positive case is detected, the house/locality is declared as containment zone in civil area. However, the Army takes preventive measures in establishments under its control.

 

Across Maharashtra, 11,607 people got discharged from hospitals while 14,361 new cases and 331 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 7,47,995 out of which 5,43,170 people have recovered and 23,775 have died. There are 1,80,718 active cases.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,387,500 across the country. Out of this, 2,583,948 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 61,529 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 742,023 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
