Khadki Cantonment Lockdown: Shops open for 3 days, closed for 4 days

Khadki, 23 July 2020: The Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) has issued revised guidelines for the lockdown. The shops have been allowed to open for three days and then closed again for four days.

 

KCB CEO Pramod Kumar Singh stated in his order, “It has been decided that the business activities permitted earlier, shall be operative in the entire Cantonment area except for the areas under Micro-Containment Zones for coming three days from 24 July to 26 ie Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 8 am to 6 am.

 

All the business activities will remain completely closed/inoperative from 27 July to 30 July in the entire Cantonment area except for milk (from 7 am to 10 am); ration (as per Government norms); medical (as per Government norms); petrol pump (7 am to 5 pm); banks (as per their timings) and ATMs (24 hrs).

 

Similarly, the business activities permitted earlier (as per order dated 03 June 2020), shall be operative in the entire Cantonment area except for Micro-Containment Zones from 31 July 2020 to 2 August from 8 am to 6 pm. Order for Barbershop, Spa, Salon, Beauty Parlour shall be issued separately.”

 

The KCB has asked the shopkeepers and citizens to maintain social distancing and abide by all the rules and regulations issued earlier in this regard. “It may be noted that any violations shall be viewed seriously and strict action shall be initiated against such violations. All other terms and conditions issued in the earlier orders shall remain unchanged”, the order further stated.
