1599 new COVID patients in Pune city, 36 deaths today

Pune, July 23, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 779 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1599 new patients were detected while 36 people died today. Today swab samples of 6665 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 44,065 out of which 25,908 have been cured while 1104 have died. There are still 17053 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 589 critical patients out of which 82 are on ventilator support.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 13784 out of which 9049  have been cured while 255 have died. 3447 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 296 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 67 non-PCMC residents have died while 646 have been cured.

 

The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 347,502. Today, 9895 patients have been tested as positive while 298 died. Also newly 6484 patients have been cured today. Till now 194,253 people have been cured while 12854 have died. There are still 140,092 active patients in the state.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,238,635 across the country. Out of this, 782,606 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 29,861 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 426,167 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
