To avail of the benefits of this program, individuals must be listed as beneficiaries on the government-released beneficiary list.

Under this program, the sanctioned funds are distributed in multiple installments by the government. Upon the commencement of house construction, the government disburses funds progressively. With the advancement of construction, the government continues releasing installments. Over time, beneficiaries complete the construction, resulting in the availability of a permanent residence.

The primary objective of this initiative is to tackle the housing requirements of citizens and encourage home construction nationwide. With financial backing from the government, individuals can realize their aspirations of having a secure and comfortable home through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
