“Know Your Army” Exhibition Opens In Pune To Showcase Military Strength; Exhibition To Open For Punekars From 3rd January To 5th January
Pune, 3rd January 2025: The Indian Army has organized an exhibition titled “Know Your Army” at the Pune Race Course to commemorate Army Day and inspire the nation’s youth. The exhibition will be inaugurated today at 3 pm by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and will remain open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm until 5th January 2025.
The exhibition highlights the strength, technological progress, and indigenous capabilities of the Indian Army. Visitors will have the opportunity to view an impressive array of military equipment, including:
– Infantry and Special Forces gear, such as the K-9 Vajra and 155 mm Bofors.
– Armored vehicles, including T-90 and BMP-2 tanks.
– Air defense systems, such as L-7, ZU-23, Akash, and upgraded versions.
– Swarm drones and new-generation mobility vehicles.
A special section dedicated to the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative features 25 vendors showcasing domestically manufactured defense equipment. Additionally, a photo exhibition will chronicle the Army’s operational achievements and capabilities.
The event promises an immersive experience with martial music, martial arts demonstrations, and performances by Army dogs and horses. A dynamic display featuring traditional performances will be held daily from 10 am to 11 am and again from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
