Labourers from Other States want to go Home, Maharashtra CM demands Special Train Arrangements !!!
Mumbai, 21/04/2020: The workers and labourers from other states who are stuck in Maharashtra are being taken good care in the shelters. About six lakh migrant workers and labourers have been provided with meals and other necessities by the state government but they want to go their home. Sometimes they are in mood of retaliation. If the central government is predicting an increase in the outbreaks of the virus after April 30 to May 15, then the central government should consider whether a special train can be arranged to send these stranded workers to their hometowns. Guidelines in this regard should be issued, such demand was made with the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister earlier, the Chief Minister repeated.
A five-member central team headed by Additional Union Secretary Manoj Joshi has arrived in Maharashtra. The Chief Minister interacted with them through video conferencing today. He was talking on the occasion. The interaction was attended by senior officials including Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Chief Secretary Ajoy Mehta, Central Team members, Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner Pravin Pardeshi and Mumbai Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh.
The Chief Minister said that this decision would be important for the citizens of the state and other states who are stuck in various districts.n He also said that the central government should take timely decision on whether the citizens of other states can be sent home from end to end so that they can be monitored, quarantined there so that the virus does not spread. .
Patients and conditions in other countries should be studied

Warriors need safety equipments ! The Centre should fulfill the demand of the state
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of safety of doctors, nurses and health workers fighting like warriors in a disaster. The Chief Minister also said that the demands made by the states for PPE kits, ventilators and other equipments should be met by the Union Government as soon as possible and the future needs of the state should also be taken into consideration.
The state has increased health facilities. The number of isolation beds has also been increased alongwith the Corona Hospitals. The guidance has also been sought from the army on the construction of a hospital, as done by the army, on war footing if needed. Keeping in view the seriousness of the disaster, the Chief Minister said that the planned work has been speeded up.
No cooked food – food grains should be given
Stating that the Golden Hour is important for patients in the hospitals, the Chief Minister demanded relaxation in the Center’s rules regarding grains and food while giving grain to those who did not have ration cards. Cooked food in the summer can rotten soon. Considering that the people who do not have ration cards should be given food grains rather than providing cooked food, the state government will take responsibility for its distribution, so there will be less responsibility for the working system in case of emergency.
Previous Rules Apply in Mumbai and Pune
The duration of doubling of corona outbreak has increased . As per the guidelines of the Central Government, certain relaxations in the districts of Green and Orange zones have been approved subject to conditions. But looking at the situation of the outbreak of the virus in Mumbai and Pune Municipal Corporation area, the relaxations given in lockdown have been canceled.

Provide Security Equipments- Rajesh Tope
Minister for Health Mr. Tope explained the measures being taken while informing the health facilities of the state and the demand of PPE kits, ventilators and other demands made with the Union Government , should be fulfilled as soon as possible. The state government has started non-covid hospitals to provide health facilities to patients with dialysis, heart and kidney, diabetes diseases. He also told about the demand made by private doctors for safety equipments like government doctors.
Pravin Pardeshi informed about the measures being taken in Brihanmumbai, he also demanded for the facilities required by the system. Pradip Vyas informed that there is no active case in 10 districts of the state, the rate of doubling is 18 to 21 days in other parts of the state except in areas like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Malegaon.
Central team appreciates Corana freedom of Worli Koliwada
Clarified that the period of doubling rate of Corona in Maharashtra has increased
Saying that Worli Koliwada can be a great example of Freedom from Corona in the country, Union Secretary Shri Joshi said that the duration of Corona affected in Maharashtra has increased by double the number of days. He said that some of the good things in Maharashtra need to be mentioned. Maharashtra’s doubling rate is 6.3 while Mumbai’s is 4.3. He said that the work in other containment zones like Worli Koliwada would help to break the chain of the virus.
The central team visited Worli Koliwada today. They presented the findings of their survey to the Chief Minister today. Mainly the findings are: Emphasis should be given on door-to-door survey, the number of volunteers should be increased for this work, there are adequate health facilities in the state hospitals, but considering the need of the future, the facilities in the municipality and other corona hospitals should be increased , lockdown should be observed in containment areas strictly, concentrate on high risk patients , Corona infection should not increase in slum areas, lifting of suspected cases may be considered, plan for food grain distribution for those migrated people who do not have ration cards.
