Law Student Travels From Pune To Tirupati On Bicycle To Spread Message Of Environment Awareness

Pune, 19th January 2023: Abhishek Suryakant Mane, a native of Bhor taluka in Pune district of Maharashtra, travelled alone on a bicycle from Pune to Tirupati (Balaji Temple) in Andhra Pradesh, intending to create environmental awareness and the importance of exercise and as New Year’s resolution. In just seven days, Abhishek covered more than 1200 miles. Abhishek is currently studying at Shivaji Maratha Society Law College, Pune.

Due to the new lifestyle of people, the environment is getting degraded. Besides saving the environment, cycling is beneficial for good health. Abhishek used to explain the benefits of bicycling to everyone he met during his travels to convince them of the importance of the environment and health.

As he was already fond of travelling, he had previously cycled from Bhor to Karad on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti.

“During my journey from Pune to Tirupati, people not only from Maharashtra but also from Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh gave me lots of love, blessings, and help. This trip taught me a lot,” he said. Also, Abhishek said that it is his dream to participate in the world championship in France in the future.
