Leh : Lingshet gets connected through VSAT communication

Leh : District Administration Leh with the support of Rural Development Department & BSNL, installed VSAT communication system at Panchayat Ghar Lingshet on 19th August 2019. People in Lingshet can now access to internet besides WhatsApp voice/video call facility free of cost. Efforts are being made to provide similar facilities to other remote villages as well.

It is pertinent to mention here that like other parts of the country, remote areas of Ladakh including the Trans Singay-La area has been affected because of sudden disruption of DSPT communications following some technical issues.
