Let’s Inspire Bihar: Pune Chapter Champions Education, Entrepreneurship, and Unity

Yerwada, 17th December 2023: An inspiring program took place in Pune under the banner of ‘Let’s Inspire Bihar.’ Spearheaded by the accomplished senior IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav, this nationwide and international campaign focuses on education, capacity building, and entrepreneurship, gaining momentum and significance. The initiative, which commenced with the goal of transforming Bihar, has expanded its reach with numerous chapters established not only in Bihar but also across the nation and beyond.

On Saturday, the program was meticulously organized at Annabhau Sathe Auditorium in Yerwada, Pune, to foster a sense of connection among the people of Bihar residing in the city. The event aimed to strengthen ties and broaden engagement with the diaspora. During the program, IPS Vikas Vaibhav underscored the vision of revitalizing Bihar, making it a developed and illustrious state once again. He passionately appealed to the youth and aspiring entrepreneurs to reconnect with their roots and actively participate in this visionary campaign.

 

The Let’s Inspire Bihar program in Pune witnessed active participation from the vibrant Bihar community, with attendees pledging to contribute to the prosperity of Bihar. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome by Sangeeta Pawan Chaudhary, President of Mithila Brahmin Samaj Pune, and Pooja Jha, an expert in Mithila painting art, who welcomed the chief guest with a Maithili welcome song.

Amidst efforts to bring about positive change in Bihar, Vikas Vaibhav shared a poignant chapter from his childhood. Recounting his early education at Begusarai Refinery, he reflected on the challenging experience when, following his father’s transfer, he faced derogatory remarks in his new school in Bhopal. He expressed the profound impact of being labeled a ‘Bihari,’ once a symbol of pride, now transformed into a source of embarrassment.

 

In his address, Vaibhav emphasized the need to restore Bihar’s pride, aligning it with the ambitious vision of a developed India by 2047. He asserted that Bihar’s development is integral to the overall progress of the country.

 

The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including entrepreneur Shyama Jha, Commander Alpesh Mohan, Jyoti Jha, and Vandana Verma. Noteworthy contributions to the success of the program were made by individuals such as Jyoti Jha, Surabhi Jha, Pawan Chaudhary, Jatashankar Chaudhary, Ajit Kumar, Rupesh Bhardwaj, Mohan Jha, Santosh Bharatiya, and Apoorva Gaurav.
