Pune, 13th April 2021: Due to the increasing number of Coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases in Maharashtra, the state government may impose a complete lockdown from April 15 to 30. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will address the state today at 8.30 pm.

According to officials, daily wage labourers may be provided food grains. Food will also be provided through the Shivbhojan Thali scheme. The government is also planning to provide some financial assistance to this class. Even if public transport is not closed in lockdown, most people will not be able to use the public transport system. People will have to give valid reasons while traveling. People will not be able to travel on public transport without permission. There will be restrictions on it.

State Health Minister Rajesh Tope has informed that the public will be given prior notice before the lockdown. He was speaking at a press conference in Jalna. A meeting was held between Finance Minister Ajit Pawar and Health Minister Rajesh Tope. At that time, the problems in the lockdown were discussed.

X-XII board exam postponed
Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has announced to postpone the 10th-12th board exams in the wake of the Corona crisis. An important meeting was held between Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today. The meeting discussed changing the schedule of the 10th and 12th against the backdrop of lockdown in the state. Now the 10th exam will be held in June and the 12th exam will be held at the end of May. A new timetable will be announced soon considering the condition of corona in the state, informed Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad.
