Mumbai, June 28, 2020: Lockdown will not be lifted after June 30, we are starting some things carefully, said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. He was addressing the people through Facebook Live today.

“The number of corona patients is increasing. Crowding in some places, including vegetable markets, is a matter of concern. If you crowd, we will have to lockdown again. There is a demand from some districts to increase the lockdown”, said Chief Minister Thackeray, adding, “Even if you don’t use the word lockdown, you will have to impose some restrictions on yourself, you need more discipline.”

CM Thackeray said, “The current lockdown ends on June 30. The next question will be in your mind. Will there be no lockdown after June 30? The answer is no. Also, will it continue like this (present lockdown)? The answer is no. We are starting some things to speed up the economy. Don’t assume that the situation has improved since everything started, otherwise Coronavirus is still there.”
