147 Trainees Complete Merged Artificer Apprentice Course

Pune, 6th March 2021: A total of 147 trainees of Merged Artificer Apprentice Course (MAAC) XXXI and 288 trainees of Direct Entry Engineering Mechanic (DEME) 60.946 course have successfully completed professional ab-initio training of 117 weeks and 25 weeks, respectively at INS Shivaji, the premier Marine Engineering Training Establishment of the Indian Navy, located in Lonavla.

Merged Artificer Apprentice Course XXXI includes 124 trainees of the Indian Navy, 18 trainees of Indian Coast Guard and five international trainees from Friendly Foreign Countries namely Srilanka, Nigeria and Tanzania.

Direct Entry Engineering Mechanic Course includes 260 trainees from the Indian Navy and 28 trainees of the Indian Coast Guard. The Course Completion Ceremony was held on 06 Mar 21 and was reviewed by Cmde Ravnish Seth, Commanding Officer, INS Shivaji.  TPK Goud, LME of Merged Artificer Apprentice Course (MAAC) XXXI stood First in the overall Order.
