LPU 2025 Batch Breaks Records with Rs 2.5 Crore Placement

Phagwara,24th March 2025: The 2025 batch of Lovely Professional University (LPU) has made a remarkable start, with two students securing packages worth over one crore. Among them, Mr. Vishnu, a final-year B-Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) student, has achieved an outstanding milestone by securing a 2.5 crore package from a leading robotics and automation company. This is the highest-ever salary package awarded to a graduate in India, surpassing
the placement records of prestigious institutions such as IITs, IIMs, and NITs. With this achievement, LPU has further solidified its reputation as a top university for placements.

Another major breakthrough is the name of Bettireddy Nagavanshi Reddy, a final-year student of ECE from LPU. He received a package of Rs 1.03 crore (about $1,18,000) from a leading robotics and automation company. In total, more than 1,700 LPU students have received offers ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 2.5 crore from top MNCs.

LPU’s graduates are making waves worldwide, with many securing jobs in the US, UK, and Australia, with packages exceeding Rs 1 crore. One graduate even landed a job with a Rs 3 crore package from an IT company. This year, 7,361 B.Tech students received job offers from companies like Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, and Amazon. The average salary offered was Rs 16 lakh, further highlighting LPU’s strong reputation and the high demand for its students in the global job market.

In the last placement season, the big names in the industry offered attractive packages. Palo Alto Networks paid Rs 54.75 lakh, Nutanix Rs 53 lakh, and Microsoft Rs 52.20 lakh. A total of 1,912 students received multiple job offers, of which 377 students received three job offers, 97 received four, 18 received five, and seven students received six job offers.

LPU students are highly sought after for their technical skills, with major companies like Accenture, Capgemini, and TCS recruiting them. Capgemini hired 736 students as Analysts and Senior Analysts, while Mindtree recruited 467 students as Graduate Engineer Trainees. Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Founding Chancellor of LPU, highlighted that the university aims to prepare students for success in a changing world. He also emphasized that through the EduRevolution initiative, LPU is
not only preparing students for careers but also empowering them to innovate and create value.
