The blaze was extinguished through the combined efforts of IRB patrolling, the Devdoot system, the Delta Force, and the Vadgaon Maval Traffic Branch. As the incident occurred beneath the bridge connecting the villages over the expressway, smoke billowed from the bridge for some time.
