Maharashtra: 114 police personnel found COVID positive in last 24 hours

Pune, May 30, 2020: The Maharashtra Police headquarters in Mumbai said that in the last 24 hours, 114 police personnel have tested positive for Coronavirus and 1 policeman has died due to COVID19. The total number of COVID-19 infected personnel is now 2,325 in Maharashtra and 26 have died so far.

 

The doubling rate of coronavirus patients in Maharashtra is now 15.7 days. Last week the doubling rate of Corona patients was 11 days. It has seen an improvement compared to last week. In Maharashtra, the recovery rate is 43.38 percent. The death rate is 3.37 per cent.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope yesterday said that the count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 62228. Yesterday,newly 2682patients were identified as positive. Also, newly 8381patients have been cured in a single day. A total of 26997 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals. There are 33124 active patients in the state.
