Maharashtra: 51,457 Patients Discharged Today, Recovery Rate In The State Is 91.06%

Mumbai, May 19, 2021: A total of 51,457 patients were discharged and 34,031 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 594 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 1.54%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 54,67,537 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 49,78,937 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 1.54%. As of today, there are 4,01,695 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 91.06% while the fatality rate in the state is 1.54%. Currently, 30,59,095 people are in-home quarantine and 23,828 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 3,18,74,364 laboratory samples 54,67,537 have been tested positive (17.15%) for COVID-19 until today
