Maharashtra: 7975 fresh COVID patients, 233 deaths today

Mumbai, July 15, 2020: A total of 3606 patients were discharged while 7975 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 233 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.96%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,75,640 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 1,52,613 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.96%. As of today, there are 1,11,801 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 55.37% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.96%. Currently, 7,08,373 people are in home quarantine and 43,315 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 14,08,901 laboratory samples, 2,75,640 have been tested positive (19.56%) for COVID-19 until today

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 936181 across the country. Out of this, 592031 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 24309 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 319840 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
