Maharashtra: Agniveer Recruitment Rally Being Held In Sambhajinagar

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 27th June 2023: An Agniveer recruitment rally for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerks/ Store Keepers Technical and Agniveer Tradesmen (8th & 10th class), by Army Recruitment Office, Aurangabad, is in progress at Army Recruitment Ground, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) for 08 x Districts of the Marathwada region since 25 June to 02 July 2023. This is the second such rally for the state of Maharashtra in the current recruiting year, the first being at Nagpur earlier this month.

Current series of recruitment rallies are being conducted duly incorporating the transformational changes in recruiting process resulting in higher footfall, better pass percentages in physical fitness tests, lesser hardships for the candidates and a smoother conduct.

Extensive deployment of automation tools, biometric and surveillance equipment and utilisation of existing digital database of UIDAI, digilocker and government portals for document verification has ensured transparency, no manual intervention and plugging all loopholes which may have resulted in a likely malpractice.

Higher footfall and a better performance in physical fitness tests during the rally is indicative of the fact that the Agnipath scheme has met with a good response from the youth of the region. ADG Rtg (MG & G), Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Pune visited the rally site today and reviewed the conduct of the rally.
