Maharashtra Board Extends Deadline for Private 10th and 12th Exam Registrations to October 15
Pune, 29th September 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has extended the deadline for private students to register for the 10th and 12th board examinations through Form No. 17. The new deadline for submission is October 15, extended from the earlier date of October 1.
Private candidates appearing for the February–March 2026 examinations are required to submit their registration applications and fees online only. Offline submissions will not be accepted, the board clarified. Applications must be submitted through the official website: http://www.mahahsscboard.in. Detailed instructions for filling the form are also available on the website.
Students must submit the original application, two photocopies of the online registration fee receipt, and original documents to the secondary school or junior college listed in their application. After verification, eligible students will receive an enrolment certificate online.
Following the issuance of the enrolment certificate, students must fill the examination application form and pay the examination fee within the stipulated timeframe provided by the board. The board has also advised candidates to collect their original documents from the respective schools or junior colleges after scrutiny.
The Maharashtra Board emphasized that applicants should carefully read the instructions before filling the online registration form to avoid errors.
