Maharashtra Cops Win National Awards For Implementing CCTNS, ICJS In State

Pune, December 17, 2020: National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), New Delhi had organized a conference on Good Practices in CCTNS /ICJS (Crime Criminal Tracking & Network System / Interoperable Criminal Justice System) online at Delhi on 15/12/2020 and 16/12/2020.

In the category of state with more than 350 Police Stations, one Police officer and two Policemen of Maharashtra Police have received individual recognition awards for implementing CCTNS/ICJS in State. Police Inspector Prashant Pande, Police Naik Kiran Kulkarni from Computer Branch CID Pune and Police Head Constable Iqbal Shaikh from Solapur (Rural) are the recipients of this individual awards.

The award-winning officers who did a great job have worked under the guidance of Atulchandra Kulkarni, Additional Director General of Police; Pravin Salunke, Special Inspector General of Police; Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Dy. Inspector-General of Police additional charge of Spl.Inspector-General of Police, State Crime Records Bureau, Pune, officers of Computer Section CID HQ Pune Sambhaji Kadam, Superintendent of Police, (Technical Services) Rakesh Kalasagar, the then Supdt. Of Police (TS), Nanda Paraje, Additional Superintendent of Police Computer; Jitendra Kadam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chandrashekhar Sawant, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
