Maharashtra: Coronavirus positive patients in state cross 3,00,000 mark
Mumbai, July 18, 2020: A total of 5306 patients were discharged while 8348 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 144 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.85%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,00,937 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 1,65,663 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.85%. As of today, there are 1,23,377 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 55.05% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.85%. Currently, 7,40,884 people are in home quarantine and 45,552 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 15,22,564 laboratory samples, 3,00,937 have been tested positive (19.76%) for COVID-19 until today.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,038,716 across the country. Out of this, 653,750 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 26,273 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 3,58,692 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
