Maharashtra COVID Report: 32,007 Patients Discharged Today, 344 deaths today

Mumbai, Sep 21, 2020: A total of 32,007 patients were discharged and 15,738 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 884 new cases were reported in Pune city today. Today, 344 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.7%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 12,24,380 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 9,16,348 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.7%. As of today, there are 2,74,623 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 74.84% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.7%.

Currently, 18,58,924 people are in home quarantine and 35,517 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 59,12,258 laboratory samples, 12,24,380 have been tested positive (20.71%) for COVID-19 until today.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,487,580 across the country. Out of this, 4,396,399 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 87,882 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 1,003,299 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
