PCMC: 655 New COVID Cases, 1122 Discharged Today

Pimpri, 21 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 655 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 1122 people got discharged from hospitals while 11 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 70,827 out of which 61,090 have recovered while 1153 have died. 5212 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 1118 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 385 have died and 3977 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,487,580 across the country. Out of this, 4,396,399 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 87,882 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 1,003,299 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
