Maharashtra Education Minister Orders to Probe Into Alleged Illegal Allowances of Pune University Officials

Mumbai/Pune, 19th June 2021: Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant has ordered to look into the illegal allowances and illegal salary increase of Rs 50,000 for the registrar of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

Yuva Sena had demanded a probe into the SPPU officials’ illegal allowances, illegal salary increment of Rs 50,000 being taken from the registrar, etc. Hence, Samant on Friday handed over the probe to Dhanraj Mane, Director, Higher Education, Maharashtra.

A delegation of Yuva Sena on Friday met  Samant. They claimed to have presented the evidence of misconduct in SPPU to Samant. An inquiry has been ordered into the matter.

Yuva Sena executive member Sainath Durga, executive member Rupesh Kadam, SPPU Yuva Sena cell president Kunal Dhanwade, secretary Gyanand Kondhare, general secretary Parmeshwar Lad and vice president Vishal Hulawale were present on the occasion.
