Maharashtra: Golden Opportunity for Pre-Training to Become Officers in Indian Armed Forces

Pune, 19th May 2025: Aspiring officers from the Pune district now have a unique opportunity to prepare for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination through a free pre-training program. The training will be held at the Pre-Cadet Training Centre (PCTC) in Nashik Road, Nashik, from June 16 to August 29, 2025.
Candidates interested in joining this program must attend an interview on June 12, 2025, at the District Soldiers’ Welfare Office. Applicants are required to bring the printed admission card for the CDS-65 course, which is available for download on the official Soldier Welfare Department website (www.mahasainik.maharashtra.gov.in). Additionally, they must submit three printed copies of the annexure provided by the district soldier welfare office.
To be eligible, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and have registered online for the CDS exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi.
