Pune, 9th November 2021: As the state transport services are closed due to an ongoing strike, the Maharashtra state government permitted private buses, goods carriers and school busses for passengers travelling to avoid the inconvenience of the citizens. The permission is given until the strike goes on.

As the strike is being called by the state transport employees, many bus depots are closed for passenger services. As a result, citizens who went to the villages on Diwali vacation are stuck there. On the other hand, private travels are charging more fares for travelling.

There is a demand to draw a solution to this situation. Considering the current scenario, the state government on Monday, 8th November, permitted private buses, goods carriers and school buses for passenger travelling. With this, more than 25,000 buses will be available for passengers travelling.
