Solapur/Pune, September 29, 2020: After the centre banned the export of the onions, three onion farmers from Barshi taluka, Viresh Andhalkar, Pankaj Chivate and Nikhil Satpute tried to meet the Maharashtra Governor Bhagatsingh Koshiyari, but they were disappointed after repeated attempts to meet him failed.

However, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar met the trio and assured to take up the case with the government, said Andhalkar.

Meanwhile, in a letter written to Koshiyari, Andhalkar had mentioned that the governor has always taken up the cases of dissent be it of the film celebrities or political people. He believes that he will take out time from his busy schedule to meet him and his friends.

Last month, Koshiyari had met Kangana Ranaut in Mumbai. Her office was demolished by the municipal corporation which claimed that there was an illegal construction.
