Maharashtra Green Award 2026 Honours Nilesh and Priyanka Rokade
Pune, 7th September 2026: Nilesh and Priyanka Rokade have been honoured with the Maharashtra Green Award 2026 for their sustained contribution to tree conservation, environmental awareness and green initiatives.
The award was received by the Rokades on behalf of Nplants Vruksha Savardhan Foundation and Nplants Nursery Landscape Services at the Maharashtra Education & Corporate Awards 2026, held at Sunny’s World in Pune in the presence of Maharashtra Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil. The ceremony was organised by Dr Gaurav Sharma.
Nplants also served as the Green Partner for the event and distributed more than 1,000 plants to guests, promoting environmental responsibility and encouraging people to adopt greener practices.
Nilesh Rokade holds a master’s degree in biodiversity and has more than 20 years of experience in the plant nursery, landscaping and environmental sectors. He has been involved in initiatives focused on tree plantation, tree conservation, environmental awareness and social development.
As President of the Pune Paryavaran Team of RPI (Athawale), Rokade continues to work on environmental awareness and green initiatives across Maharashtra.
Together, Nilesh and Priyanka Rokade have been working towards promoting greener and more sustainable communities. The Maharashtra Green Award 2026 recognises their ongoing efforts in the field of environmental conservation and their continued commitment to expanding green initiatives across the state.
