Maharashtra HSC Result 2019: 86% students passed, girls outshine boys again

Pune, May 28, 2019 : The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the result of the 12th Board exam. The students can check the result on board’s official website mahresult.nic.in

The result was declared today for the three streams – science, arts and commerce. This year the examination was conducted between 21st February to 20th March. A total of 87.88 percent students from Pune division have passed.

A total of 14,21936 students appeared for the examinations, out of which 12,21,159 students have passed. 4470 students have scored more than 90 per cent marks. A total of 85.88 percent of the students have passed. The pass percentage for girls is 90.25 and while 82.40 boys passed. The highest pass percentage of 93.30 percent is of students from Konkan region. As per the statistics, 92.04 per cent in science, 76.28 per cent in arts and 88.28 per cent in commerce have passed.
