Pune, September, 18,2020: After State Transport minister Anil Parab gave a nod, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses have started plying with full capacity from today. Maharashtra is the third state to start State transport after Gujarat and Karnataka.

Nevertheless, the wise use of sanitizers and mask remain mandatory for the passengers. ST services were closed for four months in the backdrop of Covid-19, but from August 20, partial permission was given to the transport body to operate 50% of its total capacity. Now buses are running with full capacity.

For medium and long-distance buses, the passengers would be sitting in zig-zag position. Similarly, the bus needs to be sanitized completely before moving out of the depot, the MSRTC managing director has directed divisional board regarding it.
