Maharashtra: Now You Can Travel Inter-District In ST Bus Without E-Pass

Pune, August 19, 2020: The Maharashtra government has now allowed the inter-district travel by the state transport (ST) buses. No permission/approval / e-Pass will be required for the travel by the bus.

State Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar issued an order in this regard today. “The Inter-District bus services of only Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) will be allowed to function. No permission/approval / e-Pass will be required for the buses and passengers travelling in the buses of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation. The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the operation of these buses will be issued by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation. Further, all norms of social distancing and precaution to prevent Covid-19 shall be followed”, the order states.

Satej Patil, Minister of State for Transport, shared the order regarding travel by ST buses across Maharashtra.
