Pune, 14th September 2026: The 41st Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET) 2026, earlier scheduled for September 27, has been postponed and will now be conducted on October 25, 2026.

According to a corrigendum notification issued by the SET examination authorities on September 13, the decision was taken after considering the recently announced schedules of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and other competitive examinations.

The authorities also noted that Anant Chaturdashi falls on September 25, which could create practical difficulties for candidates travelling to and reaching their examination centres.

Representations received from candidates regarding the examination date were considered before taking the decision.

“In view of the interests of candidates and the convenience of conducting the examination, the 41st Maharashtra State Eligibility Test, which was scheduled for September 27, 2026, will now be held on October 25, 2026,” the notification stated.

The revised date is applicable to all candidates, examination contact officers and agencies involved in conducting the examination. Authorities have asked all concerned to take note of the change.
