Maharashtra State Under 8 Open and Girls Chess Championship in Pune
Pune, 8th March 2022: State Selection under 8 category is to be held in Pune on 12th and 13th of March 2022 conducted by Pune District chess Circle under the auspices of Maharashtra Chess Association. The venue partner for the tournament is Symbiosis Sports Centre ,off Prabhatroad,Pune.
More than 150 players are expected to participate in the tournament. The tournament will be played in open and girls categories with a prize money of 10000/- in each category. First two selected from each group will represent Maharashtra in national under 8 category to be held in Haryana. Players born or after 1st January 2014 can participate in the tournament. Players selected in district tournaments can play by paying 800/- and others can participate by paying a donor entry of 1500/-.
