Man finds Rs 4 lakhs cash on road, returns to police

Pune – Honesty is still there in this world. And its live example was seen in Viman Nagar on December 9. Gaurav Pradiprao Ingavle of Wagholi found Rs four lakhs cash on the road near Niko Garden society in Viman Nagar. There were eight bundles of notes in the denomination of Rs 500.
He called ASI Nikalje and police naik Supe who were on patrolling duty and informed them about the cash. They took him to the police station where senior police inspector Dilip Shinde , in-charge of Vimantal (airport) police station felicitated him. He had also informed the police control room about the Good Work done by a responsible citizen.
The cash has been deposited with the police for further action.
