Man Murders Neighbour with Axe and Runs Straight to Police Station to Surrender in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri Chinchwad, 26th November 2024: A man killed his neighbour in Pimpri Chinchwad earlier today over financial disputes. The murder was committed with a battle axe (kurhad). Shockingly, after the act, the accused went straight to the police station and surrendered while still wearing bloodstained clothes. The deceased has been identified as Mahesh Motwani, and his body is undergoing an autopsy. A case has been filed against Ram Manwani at the Pimpri Police Station.

According to police reports, Ram and Mahesh were neighbours who had been involved in several arguments recently over financial matters. Around 10 AM today, as Mahesh was leaving for work, Ram confronted him about the money. The argument escalated, leading Ram to attack Mahesh with a battle axe. After committing the crime, Ram went directly to the Pimpri Police Station to confess. His clothes, covered in blood, bore evidence of a struggle.

The police visited the crime scene and transported the body to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) Hospital in Pimpri for an autopsy. A case has been registered, and the accused has been arrested. The Pimpri Police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
