Mark Bennington will next seen in Kesari

Mark Bennington is an international actor and a professional photographer. He will be seen as lieutenant colonel John Haughton who was a very respected colonel of the 36th Sikh Regiment in the British army. You guessed it right. We are talking about Kesari which is a film based on the real-life battle of Saragarhi in 1897. It was the greatest example of the last men standing where a group of 21 Sikh army men headed by Havildar Ishar Singh played by Akshay Kumar stood against 10000 afghans and guarded the fort of Saragarhi.
 
Mark Bennington has been a professional theatre artist in California and has featured on many award-winning shows across the United States. He has played important characters in TV shows such as Star Trek: Voyager, NYPD Blue, Charmed and in India he has done substantial work over the last few years. From the rushes, it seems Mark has really nailed down the character of lieutenant colonel. John Haughton. We spoke to him and this is what he has to say, ” It was a great experience working in Kesari. The team was super professional and fun to work with. We shot in extreme conditions but the people were so warm. It was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. Working with Akshay is an absolute pleasure. His level of commitment and professionalism is unbelievable. He is a very warm, humble and sympathetic actor. He is jolly, a true superstar from the heart. I am really looking forward to the release of Kesari and the audience reaction to it. It’s been one hell of an amazing journey. ” Mark recently featured in the John Abraham starrer Parmanu where he played an American spy with great conviction. 
 
The film is releasing this Friday in cinemas and like Mark, we can’t wait to see the film. The Trailer is smashing and we wish Mark and the entire team all the luck for Kesari.
