Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024: Features Revealed for VXI and VXI (O) Variants

Pune, 6 May 2024: Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the highly anticipated Swift 2024 in India on May 9, 2024. Ahead of the official unveiling, details about the features in the mid variants, VXI and VXI (O), have been disclosed, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of what to expect.

The new Swift 2024 will be available in five variants, with the VXI and VXI (O) positioned as the mid-level options. These variants will sport projector headlamps with halogen lights and a silver chrome strip in place of LED DRLs. While fog lamps will be omitted, a black skid plate and gloss-finished front grille will enhance the exterior. The vehicles will ride on 14-inch steel wheels and feature turn indicators on ORVMs. The VXI variant will lack a keyless entry sensor, while the VXI (O) will boast a push-button start/stop feature and keyless entry sensor.

Interior highlights include a black-themed cabin with a new dashboard design, fully automatic climate control, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and audio controls on the steering wheel. Safety features may comprise six airbags, ABS, EBD, and more. Under the hood, the Swift 2024 will be powered by a 1.2-liter K-series mild-hybrid petrol engine, replacing the previous four-cylinder setup with a more efficient three-cylinder configuration. The new engine is expected to deliver 81.6 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT option.

Fuel efficiency is projected to improve significantly, with reports suggesting a mileage of up to 25.72 kilometers per liter of petrol. The Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 in VXI and VXI (O) variants promises a blend of advanced features and enhanced performance in the mid-segment category.
