Neet Ug 2024 Exam Analysis: Over 24 Lakh Students Participate

Pune, 6 May, 2024: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) for 2024 was conducted today by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. A record number of over 24 lakh students appeared for the exam, which took place in 557 cities across India and 14 cities abroad.

The NEET UG exam format remained unchanged this year, with a total of 720 marks at stake. The question paper included sections in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Botany. In each section, students had to answer 35 questions in Section A and choose 10 out of 15 questions in Section B. Each correct answer carried four marks, while one-fourth mark was deducted for every wrong answer.

The NTA is set to release the answer key soon, followed by the final result declaration on June 14, 2024. Students can access their results on the NTA’s official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
