Maruti Wagon R Tops Sales in India, See Which Cars Dominate Other Countries: World of Statistics Report

Global, 5th May 2023: Argentina’s car market saw the Fiat Cronos as the top-selling car with 38,769 units sold, while Australia’s best-selling car was the Toyota Hilux with 64,391 units sold. In Brazil, the Fiat Strada was the best-seller with 112,456 units sold.

China’s best-selling car in 2022 was the BYD Song Plus, with an impressive 459,424 units sold. Denmark’s top-selling car was the Peugeot 208 with 3,920 units sold, and France also had the same car as its best-seller with 88,812 units sold.

Germany’s top-selling car was the VW Golf with 84,282 units sold, while India’s Maruti Wagon R maintained its top position with 217,317 units sold. In Indonesia, the Daihatsu Gran Max was the best-seller with 65,062 units sold, and Hyundai Tucson took the lead as the best-selling car in Ireland and Spain with 6,444 and 21,985 units sold, respectively.

Italy’s best-selling car was the Fiat Panda with 105,384 units sold, and the Toyota Yaris secured the top spot as the best-seller in the Netherlands and Switzerland with 11,178 and 5,572 units sold, respectively.

Norway’s best-selling car in 2022 was the Tesla Model Y with 17,356 units sold, while Poland’s top-selling car was the Toyota Corolla with 21,819 units sold. Portugal’s best-selling car was the Peugeot 2008 with 6,001 units sold, and Russia’s Lada Granta remained the best-seller with 99,356 units sold.

Finally, the Volvo XC 40 took the top spot as Sweden’s best-selling car with 14,252 units sold, and Fiat Egea continued to rule Turkey’s car market with 68,779 units sold in 2022.
