MaxiVision Eye Hospital donates Free eye glasses to Poor Students of Sharada Vidyalaya

Hyderabad 26TH January, 2018: Hyderbad based MaxiVision super specialty Eye Hospital celebrated republic day with students and distributed Free eye glasses to poor students of Sharada Vidyalaya today.MaxiVision Eye Hospital founder Dr.Kasu Prasad Reddy  who attended the program as the chief guest has hoisted the national flag.He distributed Free eye glasses to the poor students.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Dr.Kasu Prasad Reddy  said, For Maxivision, responsibility towards Vision Care to community, does not limit to the people who walk in to our 11 hospitals across the city but also for those untapped poor patients who are not afford to visit the hospitals and seek medical care.

Maxivision has an Outreach program Team which has a dedicated 24 member team consisting of  Optometrists, Counselors, and Doctors. The team reaches out to various associations, schools, colleges, villages, and rural areas of the city, and conduct primary eye care program with Vision Checking and advise/directs defective vision, people to their hospitals for Free consultation, Fundus examination, and required surgeries as diagnosed by expert doctors in their hospitals.

Out reach Program has been running in Maxivision for over a decade, and the team had conducted over 5000 Free eye check up camps in  and around Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Vizag, Vijayawada and Bhimavaram districts. People who have been found with defective vision, and who need further detailed diagnostics and doctors intervention are referred or transported to nearest hospitals of Maxivision, and given the best eye care solution possible in the program as per the need of the affected.

Those who can afford to pay, gets the surgery done in the regular tariff packages of the hospital, and those who cannot afford are operated free of charges from the hospitals. Maxivision has operated thousands of free and subsidized cases,to many people of the districts they are operating hospitals.

On 69th Republic Day, Maxivision is donating free Spectacles to around 50 students who have been diagnosed with vision defects.  These students are from ShaaradaVidyalaya, Aliyabad, and have been struggling with studies, because of their vision defects. In one of the outreach program at the school, Maxivision screened around 450 students of this school, and 45 were diagnosed to have defective vision, and referred to their hospital in Somajiguda. Expert Paediatric doctors here diagnosed 38 students to have vision defects and advised spectacles. As a special gesture, to these students, who are poor, and cannot afford to buy spectacles, Maxivision is giving all these students free Spectacles.

The distribution was done by Dr.Kasu Prasad Reddy, Founder, and Mentor of Maxivision Eye hospitals, in a function held during Republic Day at their hospital in Somajiguda.

‘The vision defects found in children these days are very alarming, and a matter of concern, Maxivision has a fully equipped Paediatric Eye Care Department in their hospitals in Somajiguda and Madhapur, where most common Paediatric Vision disorders, like Refractive Errors, Squint (Crossed Eyes) and Lazy eye are treated with expert doctors in this particular specialty. They have also technicians and paramedics who follow ups the children vision health regularly through Eye Exercises, and regular follow up on Vision Screening.
