Meeting Of General Manager Of Central Railway With MPs Concludes At Divisional Office In Pune
Pune, 18th October 2022: A meeting of the MPs of Pune and Solapur Divisional Regions was held at the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Pune, with the General Manager of Central Railway, Anilkumar Lahoti, Principal Heads of Departments, and Divisional Railway Managers of Pune and Solapur.
In this meeting, MP Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar, Srinivas Patil, Shrirang Appa Barne, Dhananjay Mahadik, Dhairyasheel Mane, Dr Jaysiddheshwar Shivacharya Swamy, Omprakash Bhupalsingh alias Pawan Raje Nimbalkar, Sudhakar Tukaram Shringare, and Shri Umesh Jadhav were present.
The MPs held detailed discussions with the General Manager and other senior officers on various railway projects, ongoing development works and railway-related matters related to various passenger amenities. General Manager Anilkumar Lahoti welcomed the MPs and appreciated them for their cooperation and inspiration in completing the projects. He assured that efforts would be made to fulfil all the suggestions of the MPs at their level.
Divisional Railway Manager, Pune Division, Renu Sharma and Divisional Railway Manager, Solapur Division, Neeraj Kumar Dohre, gave a presentation about the ongoing and completed projects. In the meeting, electrification of new trains, doubling, stoppages, expansion of platforms, passenger amenities at stations, escalators, lifts, new foot over bridges, LED lighting, UTS mobile app ticketing system, station beautification, and other topics were discussed.
The principal Head of the Department and other senior officers of Headquarters were present in the meeting.
