Pune: Professional Course For Bangladesh Navy Commenced At INS Shivaji

Lonavla, 18th October 2022: Machinery Tuning and Equipment Control System Course for Bangladesh Navy commenced at INS Shivaji, Lonavla on 17 Oct 2022. The participating Officers and sailors were presented with Indian Navy Badges upon arrival by the Commanding Officer.

 

Indian Navy conducts various ab-initio and professional courses for officers and sailors from Friendly Foreign Countries in pursuance of Govt’s SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region) initiative. Taking a step further, IN has commenced catering to specific requirements of our Friendly Foreign Countries.

 

The trainees of the course would be imparted with extensive training on various facets of Engine Health Monitoring and machinery controls by experts, towards extended operational availability of Warships at sea. This course establishes Indian Navy as the Preferred Training Partner in the Indian Ocean Region. The initiative has further enhanced the mutual cooperation between Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy, which are the two leading navies of the Indian Ocean Region.
